Everyone over the age of 6 months old is eligible to receive a vaccine in Virginia, no matter which health district you live or work in.
Anyone over the age of 5 can receive a covid-19 vaccine. The VDH has created a tool that will help you search your area for available vaccine appointments online or you can call the call center. The call center can help you schedule an appointment, or answer questions you might have. They are available Monday through Saturday, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. to take your call. Assistance is available in English, Spanish, and more than 100 additional languages. Video assistance in American Sign Language is available by clicking the “ASL NOW” on their website.

Where can I find a test?
You can still use in-person diagnostic COVID-19 testing sites. These may include your doctor’s office, a pharmacy or health clinic, or an urgent care center. At-home diagnostic tests can be purchased over the counter, online, at a local pharmacy, or from a big-box store.
Tests available Curbside at ARLS

The Appomattox Regional Library has a limited number of free COVID-19 Antigen at-home test kits. Tests are available for those with an immediate need or who will soon need a test result.
Limit 2 per household.
Rapid test distribution is available through curbside service only.
Do not enter the building to request your kit.
